Today Weather is a weather app that provides forecasts, radar, alerts, widgets, and optional community photo features. In this policy, “Today Weather,” “we,” “our,” or “us” refers to the operator of the Today Weather app and website.

2.1 Location information
We may collect precise or approximate location information from your device if you grant permission, or use a location you manually search for or save. This helps us provide local forecasts, radar, alerts, sunrise and sunset information, and weather-related content.

If you choose to sign in using a third-party provider such as Google, we do not collect or store your email address, name, or other personal profile information.
Instead, we only receive a unique identifier from the sign-in provider. This identifier is securely encrypted before being stored.
The encrypted identifier is used solely to:
- Authenticate your account
- Enable syncing across devices
- Support features such as photo sharing
2.3 Photos and related metadata
If you upload photos, we may collect the uploaded image, associated location and capture-time metadata, basic moderation signals, and information needed to display, manage, or remove the photo inside the app.
2.4 Device and app information
We and our service providers may collect device information such as device type, operating system, app version, language, country, approximate diagnostics, and identifiers used for analytics, advertising, fraud prevention, or app functionality.
2.5 Purchase and subscription information
If you purchase a subscription or in-app product, Apple and Google process the payment. We may receive limited transaction information, such as product identifiers, subscription status, renewal status, and receipt-related data, to unlock paid features and manage entitlements.

We may collect information about how you use the app, such as features accessed, screens viewed, taps, crashes, performance events, and settings choices.

Public content

Today Weather may use third-party SDKs and services for advertising, analytics, sign-in, subscriptions, cloud hosting, and content delivery. These providers may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

- Google services, including Google Sign-In, AdMob, Firebase, and Google Play billing services.
- Apple services, including App Store billing, push notifications, and related platform services.
- Meta Audience Network and other advertising or mediation partners.
- Weather, mapping, storage, analytics, crash reporting, and performance providers.
When using Google Sign-In, we only use a secure identifier for authentication and do not store your personal profile information such as email or name.
Advertising choices
Depending on your region and platform, you may be shown a consent prompt and may be able to choose between personalized and non-personalized advertising. You can also review device-level advertising and privacy settings on your phone.
Some third parties may use identifiers or similar technologies to help deliver ads, measure performance, or prevent fraud.
6. Data Retention

- Location data may be stored in app caches or saved locations depending on features you use.

- Account identifiers are stored in encrypted form and removed when the account is deleted.
- Analytics, diagnostics, and server logs may be retained for a limited period as needed for security and service reliability.
- Purchase-related records may be retained as needed for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, or entitlement management.

7.1 In-app and device controls
- You can disable location access in your device settings.
- You can manage push notifications in your device settings.
- You can manage or delete shared photos through the app where that functionality is available.
- You can manage subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
7.2 Account deletion and data requests
If you use account-based features, you may request deletion of your account or associated data by using any in-app deletion tools we provide or by contacting us at todayweather.co@gmail.com.
7.3 Regional privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or export certain personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. We may need to verify your identity before responding to some requests.
8. Children’s Privacy
Today Weather is not directed to children under the age where parental consent is required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
