1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Today Weather, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app or related services.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must comply with applicable laws when using Today Weather. If you create or use an account-based feature, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activities that occur under it.
If you use sign-in features, the app uses a secure, encrypted identifier to manage your account and does not store personal profile information such as your email address or name.
- Provide accurate information when using account-related features.
- Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless prohibited by law.
3. App License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Today Weather for your personal, lawful, and non-commercial use on devices you own or control.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or exploit the app except as allowed by law or these Terms.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where such restrictions are prohibited by law.
- Use the app in a way that interferes with the service, other users, or related infrastructure.
4. Purchases and Subscriptions
Today Weather may offer paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. Purchases are processed by Apple App Store, Google Play, or another platform where the purchase is made.
- Prices, billing periods, and available plans are shown in the purchase flow before you confirm payment.
- Subscriptions may renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal before the renewal date.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
- Except where required by law or platform rules, payments are non-refundable once charged.
5. User Content and Photos
Some features allow you to upload or share photos and related content. You retain ownership of content you submit, but you grant us a limited license to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt, display, distribute, and moderate that content as needed to operate, improve, promote, and protect Today Weather and its community features.
You represent and warrant that:
- You own the content you upload or have the necessary rights and permissions to share it.
- Your content does not violate any law, third-party right, or these Terms.
- Your content is weather-related and suitable for display in the app’s community areas.
We may remove, reject, limit, or review user content at our discretion if we believe it violates these Terms, our policies, applicable law, or may harm users or the service.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Today Weather to:
- Upload unlawful, infringing, abusive, hateful, misleading, or sexually explicit content.
- Upload spam, scams, malware, or content intended to manipulate, disrupt, or abuse the service.
- Harvest data, scrape content at scale, or bypass security or access controls.
- Use the app in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our services.
- Misuse forecasts, alerts, maps, community tools, or account systems for harmful or fraudulent purposes.
7. Intellectual Property
Today Weather, including the app, code, design, branding, text, graphics, and related materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Except for the limited license above, no rights are granted to you.
8. Third-Party Services
Today Weather may rely on third-party services, SDKs, data providers, weather providers, map providers, storage platforms, billing systems, advertising networks, and sign-in providers. Your use of those third-party services may also be subject to their terms and privacy policies.
9. Disclaimers
Today Weather is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that forecasts, alerts, maps, radar, community content, or other materials will be error-free, uninterrupted, complete, or suitable for every purpose.
Weather information is provided for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for official emergency, public safety, marine, aviation, or professional decision-making sources.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Today Weather and its operators, licensors, and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of the app or inability to use it.
Where the law does not allow certain exclusions or limitations, some of the above may not apply to you.
11. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to Today Weather, including community features, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for other users, exposed us to legal liability, or misused the service.
You may stop using Today Weather at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of Today Weather after updated terms become effective means you accept the revised terms, to the extent permitted by law.
